Early Learning Coalition Boards are made up of at least 18 but not more than 35 members. The governor appoints two of those members and also appoints the board chair.Florida law requires that coalition boards be representative of a wide variety of community, educational and local governmental entities. One-third of the board must be private sector business members. Also represented on the board are faith-based and private child care providers. Vacancies in appointed positions must be advertised by the Coalition.The current makeup of the Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County Board is:
